Welcome to the Toy Library of Kilmore!
2021 - The Year of Fun!!
The Toy Library of Kilmore is pleased to announce that we are
~ recommencing our usual Saturdays and alternate Thursdays ~
from 30 January 2021!!
To help make 2021 the Year of Fun:
We continue to offer 'click and collect' while we work through covid-related requirements for 'browsing' which will hopefully resume soon.
At the Toy Library of Kilmore, we aim to offer a wide range of quality, educational toys and equipment to assist in your child's growth and development. We have over 400 toys for babies to ~6 year olds (and the young at heart), small and large toys, noisy and calming toys. Within our collection, we also have toys suitable for children with special needs. Utilising a toy library saves money, saves the environment, saves storage space in your home, and allows children frequent rotation of stimulating toys which saves the TV from being turned on.
We are a volunteer-run, not for profit service and rely on membership fees, fundraising and grants to provide the best toys for the community. We ask members to volunteer to assist with open sessions once per term - this is a great way to meet like minded parents!
On this website (aka mibase) you will find our online toy catalogue. Have a look at all our great toys using the menu tabs on the top, especially our 'new' and 'popular' toys!
Location: we are in the same building as the Kilmore Library (cnr Sydney and Bourke Street), though entrance is now only from the carpark opposite the Bowls Club (ramp access).

Hope to see you soon!
As a volunteer run, not-for-profit organisation we need members to help to keep things running. Members are therefore required to complete four duties per year (usually one duty per term) alongside a committee member. If a member is unable to attend a rostered duty, a $10 fine will be charged. If a member is unable to commit to four duties per year when signing up, a $40 levy will be charged alongside the membership fee.
Yearly membership fees are determined on the size of the family. Each child can borrow 4 items at a time.
One child $30 (4 items) + $40 if unable to do duties
Two children $40 (8 items) + $40 if unable to do duties
Three+ children $50 (12 items) + $40 if unable to do duties
Grandparent memberships - same cost, but grandparents are not expected to complete duties unless they wish to. They are not charged the $40 levy.
